Recycling Center

In an effort to further remove non-biodegradables from the waste stream, our nursery now recycles all plastics generated by the horticultural industry, free of charge. All types, colors and sizes of flats, pots, and sheeting are accepted. We sort and palletize each category and are paid by the hundredweight from an industrial plastics recycler; a break-even proposition, at best.

We only ask that your plastics are relatively clean, dry and organized when you drop them off at the Recycling House, i.e., no stones, mud, trash, etc. Please do not send homeowners with their plastic: collect it for them and bring it along with yours in one trip. They will thank you and so will we.
