Terms of Sale

Payment is due upon pickup/delivery. For customers who have established credit with us, payment is due within 30 days of invoice date. After 30 days, payment is requested in full. A finance charge will be imposed on your account if full payment is not made within 30 days of invoice date. The finance charge is calculated at the rate of 2% per month which corresponds to an annual percentage rate of 24%. Your invoice is your bill; no monthly statements will be issued. Misuse of customer credit will result in a cash only policy. We also accept MasterCard, Visa and bank debit cards. All prices are subject to change without notice.

Discounts and Specials:
A 5% discount will be given when buying 20 or more of one variety in a single purchase. Many plants will be 10% off at our Fall Open House/Customer Appreciation Days, to be held this year on Monday & Tuesday, October 5^th & 6^th.

Ordering Suggestions:
Ordering direct from our print catalog (mailed to established customers in late winter) is usually only about 75% successful since not all items are always available. Current availability can be found on the Availability/Order area of this website, which is also printable. We anticipate 95% or better fulfillment on such orders.

Delivery:
We deliver via our trucks Tuesday-Friday at your request. Please allow 48 hours between placing your order and the date of delivery. Delivery schedules are established as each week progresses, but generally, we travel South on Wednesdays, North and West on Thursdays and East on Fridays. Tuesday is open, so pretty much anything is possible. Delivery minimums and charges are as follows:

Deposit/Return:
Due to the annual increase in plastic costs and an ever-worsening landfill problem, we have requested a 10¢ deposit on each of our contains from our landscape clients only. This deposit is totally refundable upon return of our containers. This policy has been very successful due to the active involvement of our landscape professionals and we anticipate its continued success. Please see the Recycling Center ››.

Hours/Location:
The nursery is open Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm, and Saturday, 8 am - 12 Noon. The nursery is located on (NY) State Route 66, 4 miles north of Chatham Center, on the right, just before the intersection of County Route 32 and State Route 66. It is a long driveway. The mailbox number is 4569-Behn, directly across from a large white farmhouse.
